Offshore Applications

Conquering Harsh Marine Environments, Extreme Environment Adaptation, Waterproof & Anti-corrosion

Offshore applications face combined challenges of salt spray corrosion, high humidity, constant vibration, space constraints, and extreme temperature variations. Battery systems must meet military or industrial-grade safety standards, including comprehensive explosion-proof and fire-resistant design, and stringent Ingress Protection (IP) ratings. Their materials and structure require excellent corrosion resistance to withstand salty air and seawater. Reliability is the foremost priority; systems must pass rigorous certification by authoritative classification societies like DNV-GL, ABS, or CCS to ensure fail-safe operation in marine environments far from shore-based support, serving in hybrid propulsion, onboard auxiliary power, and even deep-sea equipment.

Recommended Battery Types:

Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) Battery (traditional). Safe, tough and reliable

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery (mainstream for propulsion/energy storage),

Lithium Titanate (LTO) Battery (ultra-long cycle life, fast charging).
