Cordless power tools have revolutionized work practices, with high-performance batteries at their core. Tools require bursts of extremely high power (hundreds to thousands of watts) during startup, drilling, cutting, or fastening, demanding batteries with very high continuous discharge rates (e.g., 15C-30C). The harsh usage environment also requires batteries to withstand impacts from drops and high temperatures from continuous operation. Fast-charging technology (e.g., full charge within an hour) significantly boosts work efficiency. Therefore, batteries must achieve a perfect balance between energy density, power density, thermal management, durability, and charging speed.
