Heavy-Duty AGV

Driving Automation in Heavy Logistics

Heavy-Duty Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) handle loads ranging from several to tens of tons. Their battery systems are the power foundation for continuous, high-intensity operation. They require substantial energy capacity for extended runtime and the ability to sustain high-power discharge to meet the demands of moving and lifting heavy loads. To maximize equipment utilization, support for fast charging (e.g., high-current direct charging) or battery swapping is often essential. Furthermore, in 24/7 logistics hubs, the calendar life and cycle life of the battery must be sufficiently long to endure thousands of charge/discharge cycles, ensuring operational economy. "Battery + supercapacitor" hybrid systems are commonly used to meet instantaneous ultra-high power demands.

Recommended Battery Types:

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery (standard), often paired with Supercapacitors in a hybrid system.
